I have talked before about the wonderful dedicated gluten free shop on the outskirts of Norwich, which is just heaven for anyone who lives on a GF diet! If you are ever in the vicinity, make sure you visit.
Owner, Louisa has now joined forces with Sara Matthews a GF cookery trainer to form Gluten Freedom and bring the first gluten free food festival to the city centre! Taking place in the light and airy Forum building in the heart of the fine city of Norwich, on Saturday 25th October, this happens to be the last weekend of the half term, so make it a destination for the family! Norwich is a fabulous city!
There are over 70 stalls, inside and outside the centre, that include street food, a BBQ, products to take home and eat on site – all of which be gluten free, either naturally or specifically so. Don’t worry about checking lengthy ingredients, or grilling stall holders for information. Sample, enjoy and buy!
In addition to food to buy, there are cookery demonstrations, health advice and talks taking place in the curve auditorium. It looks to be a wonderful gluten free day out.
Some of the producers to look out for include St Peters Brewery, Voakes award winning free from pies, new biscuits from BonBon, and of course the bounty from Louisa’s gluten free shop!
